The UAE Institute of Training & Judicial Studies conducted the first training in English for lawyers in the UAE. The training program was in the Cyber Law, in particular, the UAE Federal Law No.5 of 2012 on Combating Cyber Crimes. Legal debates took place on various provisions of the law such as fraudulent access to credit/debit card or bank accounts, forgery of electronic documents, invasion of privacy, money laundering, etc.
