In UAE the Age of Majority is Reduced from 21 to 18 23.02.2026 The UAE has enacted Federal Decree-Law No. (25) of 2025 Issuing the Civil Transactions Law (the Civil Transactions Law), which will come into effect in June 2026. A fundamental change introduced by the new law is the reduction of the age of legal majority from 21 to 18 years.
